The Philadelphia Water, Sewer and Storm Water Rate Board will hold public hearings in the 2023 General Rate Proceeding on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 3 p.m.

  • Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 6 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 3 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 6 p.m.

All hearings are open to the public and will be conducted remotely via Zoom (internet or phone).

The Philadelphia Water Department filed Formal Notice on February 23, 2023, proposing to raise and otherwise modify rates on September 1, 2023 and again September 1, 2024. In this proceeding, the Rate Board will determine the appropriate rates and charges.

Let your voice be heard:

Anyone wanting to testify is encouraged to email WaterRateBoard@phila.gov by March 21, identifying the hearing and stating your name and call-in phone number.

You may email written comments by April 25, including your name.
